Adam Forbes, Founder, Familiarize
I worked with Sarah at Launchpad, when she was our first People Director. Our previous focus had been recruitment, which Sarah handled effortlessly but it was her broad-ranging experience across the full spectrum of HR (policy, reward, motivation, culture etc) that we found so incredibly valuable. Sarah is purposeful, balanced and thoughtful – a very natural coach. I am excited to see how she will apply her recently acquired coaching theory to unlock the power of people: individuals, teams and entire organisations. Sarah is the people expert you want on your team
Frances Lawrence, CEO
Sarah is a fantastic coach who creates a safe and trusting environment to help you work out what your goals truly are and what steps you need to take to achieve them. Sarah listens intently, challenges you by asking searching questions and provides you with the tools you need to work out the right plan for you. Sarah's support was invaluable at a time when I'd reached a crossroads in my life and career. Her support gave me clarity in terms of what was important to me and what I needed from a role, and the self-belief required to make sure I stayed on the right track.
Jennifer Bouyoukos - Chief Talent & Culture Officer, Yorkville University
Sarah worked with me at eOne during a period of significant change in the business. She was a trusted thought partner and brought significant experience to the role that was invaluable. Her skillset allowed us to stabilize the team and focus on key areas of the transformation with the most impact. She's a business-focused leader, with deep HR expertise and someone who I would work with again, anytime!
Annabelle, Executive Coach
Sarah is a caring and considerate coach who will challenge you to reframe your assumptions about yourself and support you in identifying and naming your barriers. She manages to balance a safe space with stretching questions. I got to the root cause of a couple of things that were holding me back from being the best version of myself.
Charmaine, Digital Director
I felt listened to and found Sarah very easy to trust which allowed me to be even more open in my discussions. The sessions had a good combination of planned and impromptu conversations which were hyper catered to what I needed. Sarah’s ability to ask really good questions enabled me to think and come up with different solutions for myself.
Sarah is a patient, calm and reflective coach and made space without leaving uncomfortable silences and checked out from the beginning what kind of coaching I needed/wanted. I felt safe in our interactions and knew that I could be open and honest. I feel that something fundamental has shifted in me, I feel more able to tackle tasks calmly instead of becoming anxious/overwhelmed at having too much to do. I really did get so much out of the sessions that I am taking forward. I was open-minded at the start and didn’t really have any expectations for what I would get out of coaching, and it has definitely exceeded my expectations.
Lorna, Education professional development and trainer
When I first started working with Sarah, I was really quite lost. There was no one thing that had got me there, simply a perfect combination of lots of little things that had slowly knocked me off course (from me / who I was and am). Quite frankly, I wasn't sure coaching was for me as surely that is for driven people who know where they want to go and simply need a wee hand getting there. I was simply lost and couldn't even imagine what a route out would look like.
Sarah provided me with a space to first figure out what was going on, what I wanted to change and then supported me on that change. It was gentle, emotional but incredibly empowering. She has helped me expand my tool kit for dealing with, well let's be honest for dealing with life. I can't recommend spending time with Sarah more highly.
